A meeting at a table with laptops

Service 06 · Consulting

The most expensive software is the software nobody needed.

Before we build, we clarify whether anything should be built. Sometimes the best recommendation is not to.

What it’s about

Consulting and project management

We have led digitalisation projects in groups with more than sixty affiliated companies, been responsible for portals with millions of page views a month, and taken our own products from idea to app store. What remains is above all a feel for which projects will hold up and which won’t.

In consulting we bring that in before money flows into code: structuring requirements, estimating effort realistically, putting other vendors’ quotes into perspective, setting an order that still holds when the budget shrinks along the way.

Typical starting point

Does any of this sound familiar?

  • Three quotes are on the table, and they can’t be compared.
  • The project is running, but nobody can say where it stands.
  • There’s an idea and a budget - but no first step.

Scope

What we take on.

Assessment

What runs, what holds, what is legacy - with an assessment of what happens if nothing happens.

Structuring requirements

A wish list becomes an order: what first, what later, what never.

Effort and feasibility

An estimate with a range and the assumptions it rests on. No number without a reason.

Reviewing quotes

We read other vendors’ quotes and contracts with you - technically, not legally.

Project management

When nobody in-house has the time: steering, coordination with vendors, acceptance.

Second opinion

An outside look at architecture, source code or operations - in writing, with a clear recommendation.
