Why us
A surprising amount is possible.
Most projects don’t fail because of technology. They fail because nobody looks closely at what is actually needed — and then something gets built that looks good in the meeting and helps no one in daily work.
We work the other way round. Understand first, then sketch, then build — in short rounds, with something to show at the end of each one. And because we run what we build, we make different decisions along the way than someone who switches off the lights after sign-off.
You can see what comes of it further down: eight products of our own, live on the web, in five languages, in two app stores. All of it built with the same craft we bring to client work.

An appliance that answers questions about your own documents — entirely inside your own network, without the cloud. With industry profiles and a fixed list of questions the system deliberately refuses: an assistant that answers everything is more dangerous in operation than one that stays silent.

Everything belongs to you
Source code, data, accounts, servers, documentation. You stay with us because things run well — not because you can’t leave.
We also say no
If a project won’t hold up, or someone else can do it better, we say so. A job that goes wrong costs us more than it earns.
Operations count
We run what we build. Whoever does the restore at night builds differently during the day.
Data-minimal
No Google Fonts, no trackers, no cookie wall nobody needs. Servers in Germany. For us that’s the default, not an upcharge.
Attitude
We enjoy this. It shows in the result.
Twenty-five years in, still curious about the next problem. People who like their work finish it — including the last ten per cent, where quality is decided.

About
Twenty-five years, briefly told.
TM Systems is not a start-up and doesn’t want to be one. The company has existed since 2001 — with interruptions in which we did the same work for others, and with everything we learned there.
After twenty-five years you know pretty well which projects will hold up. The nice thing is: the curiosity about the next problem doesn’t go away.
2001
Founded
TM Systems starts work: IT consulting and development in the Rhine-Main region, alongside studying business informatics in Darmstadt.
2007
Master’s and research
Graduation from TU Darmstadt, preceded by research at the Fraunhofer Institute IPSI on integrated information and publication systems, with a focus on multimedia security.
2007
Project lead, Groupe Loret
Workflow management and digital document management for a group of more than sixty companies. Processes first, software second.
2011
Director of IT, Arapaho
Responsible for web and mobile applications and SMS services. Portals with more than six million page views a month.
2014
Co-founded Neoxx
Ten years of our own company: e-commerce and business portals, including travel and business portals with more than a million page views a month.
2017
Back to TM Systems
Under our own name again: web and mobile applications, backend and frontend, consulting — for clients in the Rhine-Main region and beyond.
